TryAI just passed 10,000 signups

This week, the 10,000th person made a TryAI account. For a product whose whole pitch is "every frontier model, one account," that is a lot of people agreeing with us. Almost a third of you showed up in just the last two months.

What you actually do here

We dug through the last few weeks of usage, and a few things stood out:

• More than a third of active users let Auto drive. Auto picks a model for every prompt, and right now its go-to is Gemini 3.8 Flash, because most prompts need fast and cheap more than they need a genius.
• When you pick for yourself, OpenAI wins. GPT-6.1 Sol is the most popular hand-picked model on the site.
• Grok has the most devoted fans. Fewer people pick Grok 4.7 than GPT-6.1 Sol, but the ones who do send about twice as many messages each.

The honest part

Running almost 50 models under one roof is not cheap, and TryAI has not exactly made us rich. But 10,000 people deciding it was worth a try makes the bills sting a little less.
